The work of the Śramani Institute is centered on strengthening EcoResilience through a range of regenerative innovation (regenovation), both conceptual and practical. Our initiatives include: Ecosymbionts Regenerate, Workshops, and Certifications.
The objective of the Śramani Institute’s Ecosymbionts Regenerate initiative is to regenerate human-ecological ecosymbiosis, namely, the connectivity and dependence between and among humans, other living beings, and the nonliving parts of our ecologies.

The Ecosymbionts Regenerate initiative encompasses four projects.
FiveBecomings (Pañchabhūmi) strengthens the EcoResilience of rural communities and their ecologies by working with them to (re-)establish their local ecology- and culture-rooted self-reliance through their own intelligent and creative efforts. Visit the webpage dedicated to FiveBecomings.
EaRTh is a professionally edited online knowledge-sharing and community-building platform providing grassroots individuals, ecology-rooted communities, and movements anywhere in the world an inviting space to share ideas, thoughts, music, art, performance, or practical implementations related to human-ecological interconnectivity. Soon, EaRTh will feature a private portal through which contributors can securely connect with each other to co-learn and collaborate. Visit the EaRTh portal.
Our systems transformation work focuses on transforming man-made extractivist systems (e.g., economics-law-governance-education (ELGE) systems) causing widespread ecocide and inequity worldwide. We provide thought leadership and collaboratively implement local-global actions — in synergy with civic organizations and communities — to help effect lasting systems change.
Our ReRoot campaigns aim to inspire human beings from all walks of life, everywhere in the world, to understand and express their individual and community Ecoself. We invite anyone with passion to co-create art, music, and/or performance pieces that encourage people to (a) unlearn, i.e., to peel away the layers of, inhibition and untruths that may be burdening them with perspectives and beliefs that lead to self-deprecation and/or ecocidal/inequitable behaviors; and (b) relearn how to understand and express their ecoselves.
Currently, the Śramani Institute is
offering EcoResilience Workshops.
The EcoResilience Workshop is
a regenovation (regenerative innovation) of the Śramani Institute that teaches organizational leaders how to reframe programmatic strategies around the new concept of EcoResilience, so that organizations can effect long-term solutions to complex local-global ecosocial challenges, instead of merely temporarily mitigating them.
Visit the webpage dedicated to our Workshops.
The Śramani Institute offers consulting services to help organizations reframe their strategies, initiatives, and/or projects to have long-term sustainable impact on humans and ecologies. Certifications are also offered if reframed strategies, initiatives, and/or projects meet certain criteria, based on novel indeces and frameworks developed by the Śramani Institute.
